 Camp Victory

Al Faw Palace

This chair is in the main entry way and is a very popular picture spot.  When you open the picture the sign on the bottom right tells you about the palace.

These are of the main chandelier.

These are the chandeliers in the stairwells.

One of the many bathrooms.  Each bathroom stall had a toilet, bateaux and sink/mirror and then in the main area had more sinks and mirrors.

The following are more pictures are taken inside the palace.

These are pictures taken out on the balconies of the palace.  I think it is interesting all the different styles of houses.

This shows some of the damage done during our air strikes.  This bridge and his main bedroom were the only strikes done to the palace.  As you can see most of the damage to the palace itself has been repaired.

Here are some pictures of the out side plus some pictures of the area of the palace that I live in.

This door if you were not looking for you would not notice it. The ceiling is fairly low right here.
We are about 2 1/2 floors up inside the palace.

I am the 3rd door on the right.  The bathroom is the first door on the left.

This is my corner. View to the door.

This is a little break area for those of us that live in the palace.   Here is the bathroom area.
